It runs on the systems you already have.
Your EMR stays your clinical record. Your phone number stays your phone number. Grow Theory connects to what your practice already runs and does the growth work around it.
A genuine two-way connection
Grow Theory integrates deeply with ModMed, reading and writing continuously in both directions and treating your EMR as the source of truth. There is no second calendar to reconcile and no nightly export.
This is what makes the rest of the platform work. The waitlist can fill a cancellation because it sees the cancellation. A campaign can target patients by what they've actually had done because the treatment history is there.
More EMR integrations are on the way. Tell us what your practice runs and we'll tell you what's possible today.

How often
Continuously, with a targeted availability check for exactly the openings patients are waiting on.
Every write confirmed
Every booking is confirmed against your EMR after it's written, so the calendar you see is the calendar your practice has.
Everything else it works with.
Twilio — SMS
Your practice's business number for two-way texting, fully registered so messages reach patients instead of being filtered. Replies land in the inbox alongside everything else.
Postmark — email
Transactional and campaign email, with replies threaded back onto the right conversation and deliverability tracked per send.
RingCentral — voice
Call activity logged into the patient thread, and click-to-call from any patient record, so the full history of contact sits in one place.
Stripe — deposits
Take a deposit on the public booking page to secure an appointment. Payment is verified before the booking is confirmed.
ModMed Pay
Card on file, charge-later and payment links, built against ModMed's own payments product so charges stay inside your existing merchant relationship.
Google and Yelp — reviews
Review requests go out automatically after a completed visit, with happy patients routed to your review pages and unhappy feedback routed to your team instead.
We connect it with you
Integrations are configured during onboarding, with us, against your actual accounts. Getting a practice's EMR connection and messaging registration right matters more than making it a one-click experience — so we do it together and confirm each piece works before you go live.
Credentials are encrypted before storage and never shown back in the interface. Every connection here carries patient data, so each one operates under the same HIPAA obligations we take on in your Business Associate Agreement.
What we'll need from you
- API access to your EMR
- A business number to text from, or we'll provision one
- A sending domain for email, so replies come to you
- Your review page links, if you want review requests running
- Payment credentials, if you want deposits or card on file
Tell us what your
practice runs on.
Twenty minutes and you'll know exactly how it connects.
